Howdy ! I started making jewelry in the early spring of 2006, just after my husband and I moved to Tucson. I started because I went to the 2006 Tucson Gem Show, and it just gave me all kinds of ideas! I just HAD to buy some beautiful turquoise, and bamboo coral, and sterling silver beads. They just CALLED to me and I had to answer!
I am a self taught jewelry artist. The basics I have been able to pick up from the internet, from magazines, and from books. Lately I have been learning wire wrapping, mostly by accessing some of the many free tuturials on the internet. Most of my beads and stones I get at the Tucson Gem Shows (one if Feb., and another in Sept).
